HTTPS renewal failing - apex domain stuck on "Netlify DNS propagating" despite correct DNS configuration

Hi Netlify team,

I’m unable to renew the Let’s Encrypt certificate for my production site shadesbymaira.com.

Current error:

DNS verification failed

shadesbymaira.com doesn't appear to be served by Netlify

Current setup:

  • Site: candid-starlight-db1d6d
  • DNS provider: Namecheap BasicDNS
  • Apex A records:
    • 75.2.60.5
    • 99.83.190.102
  • www CNAME → candid-starlight-db1d6d.netlify.app

I’ve verified that:

  • DNS has fully propagated (confirmed with DNSChecker).
  • https://shadesbymaira.com loads the site correctly.
  • Project Overview recognizes shadesbymaira.com as the production domain.
  • However, Domain Management keeps showing “Netlify DNS propagating…” for the apex domain, while www is verified.

The current certificate also includes *.shadesbymaira.com, even though I only use:

  • shadesbymaira.com
  • www.shadesbymaira.com

Could someone please check why the apex domain verification appears to be stuck and why the certificate renewal is failing?

Thanks!
