Guidance Needed: Centralized Database for Multiple Netlify Sites

Hi Team,

I currently host my main website, example.co and a subdomain sd.example.co on Netlify. I’m also planning to create a third subdomain using the same setup.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Shared Database Across Multiple Sites
    Does the current Free plan allow me to create and use a single centralized database that can be shared across all of my websites and subdomains? My goal is for all of them to be interconnected and access the same database.
    I came across information online suggesting that Netlify doesn’t allow its database to be shared across different sites. Is that correct? If so, could you please explain the limitations and recommend the best approach for my use case?

  2. Paid Plan Recommendation
    If a shared database is only supported on a paid plan, could you please recommend which Netlify plan would best suit my current requirements?
