GA4 tag not detected by Tag Assistant on static HTML site deployed via Netlify Drop

Site name: roaring-crostata-061430.netlify.app (custom domain: srdla.com)

GA4 tag is visible in page source but Tag Assistant Legacy shows “No tags found.” I have tried two methods - embedding the tag directly in the HTML file head section, and adding it via Netlify snippet injection set to insert before head. Both show the correct code in View Page Source but Tag Assistant and GA4’s own tag tester both report no tag detected.

Prerendering is disabled. No conflicting snippets exist. SSL certificate is active and valid. Site is a static single HTML file deployed via Netlify Drop. No Git repository connected. No build process.

Any idea why the tag would be visible in source but not executing in the browser?

If Google is unable to see it, you’d have to ask Google why that’s the case.
