Hi Netlify team,
My team is on the Free plan (300 credits/month) and production deploys have been blocked since Aug 25, showing “Skipped due to account credit usage exceeded” – including our most recent push today (main@f4e9e94).
Looking at Usage & Billing, here’s what I found. Current billing period: Aug 14 to Sep 13. Our regular monthly allowance (300 credits) was fully consumed by production deploys alone: 20 deploys used 300 credits this period, and total period usage was 320.7 credits, so we went over. We were then granted a supplemental balance labeled “Operational credits” (18/30 remaining, granted Aug 23, expires Sep 13). The dashboard is explicit that this balance “keeps published sites online, but can’t be spent on production deploys or Agent Runners” – so it doesn’t help us resume deploys, even though the dashboard shows a non-zero number.
Team: gabrielboim26’s team (gabrielboim26). Site: ia.tfagroeconomica.com.br. Repository: gabrielboim-code/tfagroeconomica-app (branch main).
Two questions. First, is it expected/normal for 300 monthly credits to be consumed entirely by about 20 production deploys, roughly 15 credits per deploy, on the Free plan? That seems like a very fast burn rate for a small site. Second, since the operational-credits balance is explicitly not usable for production deploys, is upgrading the team or waiting until the next billing cycle (Sep 13) really the only way to resume deploys? Our latest commit is already pushed to origin/main, but the deploy itself keeps getting skipped, so we wanted to confirm there’s no other option before we decide.
Thanks!
