What happened:
- From 29 Aug to 4 Sep 2026 the recipient’s Google Workspace was suspended, so its domain rejected all mail with 550 5.1.1. Around seven notifications would have hard-bounced in that window.
- The mailbox was restored on 4 Sep (09:30 UTC) and ordinary mail to it delivers normally now.
- Since then the form has received six submissions (4 Sep 11:01 UTC to 9 Sep 02:17 UTC). All appear in the Forms dashboard. None of the email notifications reached simon@.
- Positive control: on 10 Sep at 02:12 UTC I added a second notification to a different address and submitted a test. That copy arrived within one second. So sending works and the failure is specific to simon@protunemobilemechanic.com.au.
- The notification itself is unchanged since 9 Mar 2026 and shows as enabled.
