I’m using form notification feature from Netlify, it worked for a couple of years, but apparently about 2 years ago (noticed just now) it stopped working and sending email notifications to my custom domain. My domain has MX records configured and email is working properly for years, no changes were made to it.
For testing purposes I set a gmail address and the notifications work fine for that address.

Great news: these days anyone can reach out to Netlify Support. First, you can try getting an answer using Ask Netlify, our helpful AI search tool. If your question isn’t answered there, you can submit a ticket using the support form, and we’ll take it from there.
