Failed to deploy static websit on Netlify

Hi guys,

I’m the newbie to netlify and need some help from your expertise.
I’m trying to deploy a simple website to experience with netlify deployment, and I’m not sure what to put for the base directory, build command and publish directory.

As it is not a web app, and it is just a static html website, I don’t have any build command for it.
My file structure is pretty simple as well, it is just contain the root directory and the html files in it. For all the resources available on netlify and tutorial over the internet, seems like netlify only support for web app, not sure if that is true.

I have tried a few ways like put all the files in public folder and added netlify.toml, but still failed to deploy.
Please point me to the correct direction.

My site name is hopeful-curie-ccb112.netlify.app

And below is my build log with the snapshot of the build settings:

Thank you in advance!!!

Hi @shinnguyen93

Your site is in the root of your git repository, not in a directory called simply-recipes as you specified in the build settings.

Unset the publish directory and trigger a new deploy.
