Extend SSL certificate to include branch sub-domain

As explained in [Support Guide] How to use Netlify’s branch deploy feature without Netlify DNS, I’d like to please have my SSL certificate extended to include my “staging” branch sub-domain. I believe I have pointed my DNS as instructed and see the following output in nslookup:

% nslookup staging.piytravel.com
Server: 192.168.1.1
Address:	192.168.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
staging.piytravel.com	canonical name = staging--mhs-sieve-site.netlify.app.
Name:	staging--mhs-sieve-site.netlify.app
Address: 67.207.80.24
Name:	staging--mhs-sieve-site.netlify.app
Address: 167.172.136.193

Netlify site name: mhs-sieve-site.netlify.app
Primary custom domain: piytravel.com

Thanks!

Hi, @hispanic. Thanks for creating the required records in advance. The SSL certificate has been extended to include staging.piytravel.com now.

If there are other questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thanks, @luke ! I have a few other domains/sites that I intend to move over to Netlify, for which I’ll want the same action taken. I’ll post those requests as follow-ups to this thread, if that works.

Hi, @hispanic. Yes, you can use the existing thread or make a new one. Whichever you prefer is fine, either way we will be happy to do this again (or answer any questions at all about Netlify).

Please extend my SSL certificate to include my “staging” branch sub-domain for the following site:

Netlify site name: mhs-mile-site.netlify.app
Primary custom domain: milestoneinc.com

I see the following output in nslookup:

mike@sisson ~ % nslookup staging.milestoneinc.com
Server: 192.168.1.1
Address:	192.168.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
staging.milestoneinc.com	canonical name = staging--mhs-mile-site.netlify.app.
Name:	staging--mhs-mile-site.netlify.app
Address: 67.207.80.24
Name:	staging--mhs-mile-site.netlify.app
Address: 167.172.136.193

Thanks!

you are all set, we extended that SSL cert!

I’ve got another one. Please extend my SSL certificate to include my “staging” branch sub-domain for the following site:

Netlify site name: mhs-blah-site.netlify.app
Primary custom domain: blahblahreviews.com

I see the following output in nslookup:

% nslookup staging.blahblahreviews.com
Server: 192.168.1.1
Address:	192.168.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
staging.blahblahreviews.com	canonical name = staging--mhs-blah-site.netlify.app.
Name:	staging--mhs-blah-site.netlify.app
Address: 52.73.153.209
Name:	staging--mhs-blah-site.netlify.app
Address: 67.207.80.24

Thank you.

Hi, @hispanic. I’m showing the SSL certificate for that site was already updated to include that subdomain (but I don’t see any reply about it here, though).

So, this appears to be done already. Can you confirm if that is true, @hispanic?

I am able to confirm. Looks good. Thanks, @luke

Hey there, @hispanic !

Glad this has been resolved.

I’ve got one more site. Please extend my SSL certificate to include my “staging” branch sub-domain for the following site:

Netlify site name: mhs-blog-site.netlify.app
Primary custom domain: michaelscepaniak.com

I see the following output in nslookup:

% nslookup staging.michaelscepaniak.com
Server: 192.168.1.1
Address:	192.168.1.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
staging.michaelscepaniak.com	canonical name = staging--mhs-blog-site.netlify.app.
Name:	staging--mhs-blog-site.netlify.app
Address: 157.245.84.7
Name:	staging--mhs-blog-site.netlify.app
