Error with Tone.js on deployment

Hi there,

I’m getting an error on deployment of the following site : https://dronemedia.netlify.app/

Error msg :
This browser does not support Tone.js
failed Building static HTML for pages - 1.837s
error Building static HTML failed

Any ideas on why this may be happening ? I’m using Gatsby.js and Sanity for this site. All was working fine until I added Tone.js … :––[

From what I checked about Tone.js, the message you posted is just a warning and should not stop the build. There might be some other errors. Do you mind sharing the complete build log?

I think, it might have something to do with something missing in Netlify’s build image. It uses a specific set of defaults unless otherwise overridden. Maybe, you can find what’s missing by asking for help on Tone.js repo.

If anyone else here has used Tone.js, they’re welcome to chip in too.

Hello there, just getting back on this issue as I may have found the problem. I had an older version of Tone.js installed as a package. So, I have installed the new version and have no errors for the moment with importing the library. I need to implement some classes to really test but I’m going with this hunch that it was simply a version problem.
