Erratic Slow loading time for js files

Hi there, i’m having a really strange performance issue, sometime ( once in 4/5) js file loading is very slow because of bandwidth.
It takes 3.5s to download a 350Ko file ( TTFB 400ms, content download 3.5s )
I’ve checked other community post without finding the same issue, could you help me ?

Thank you

Hey there!

With the x-nf-request-id provided, I can see that that file was not cached. Therefore, for this request which was made in FR, we had to return to our US-based origin server, return the asset to the local CDN node uncompressed, compress, and then send from the CDN node to the visitor in FR.

Have you observed similar speeds recently? It may have coincided with latencies at our origin server, if this was a one-off.

Hey there thank you for your answer.
We tough it was fixed but it stills appends nowaday

Hey there!

Same as before – the asset wasn’t cached so we went full circle, from the request in France, back to the west coast US-based origin server for the file. You should find that, once cached at the CDN, renders are much more effective.
