Hi, @MoeKd. We received a permanent delivering failure for that email address on 2024-10-02. When this happens we put the email address on a suppression list to comply with anti-spam regulations and policies.
I have removed the domain from this list so emails should begin sending correctly again now. However, if they do not, please let us know with a reply here.
By the way, I have deleted the other topic with the same question and we would ask you to please not cross-post the same issue in multiple topics going forward. (It is no big deal if it happens once but it does slow us down when it happens.)
@Melvin I think I may be having the same problem. I see that my form submission was received, but I am not receiving the email notification. Could you see if moveit@brotherbearmovers.com is on the Hard Bounce list?
Hello, I am facing the same issue with email notifications. I can see form submissions on Netlify dashboard, but I don’t receive any notification in email. Email address I try to send notifications: info@profilactum.lt
Hi, @Profilactum. For the email address you posted we received a permanent delivery failure around 2025-05-02 15:14 UTC. When a permanent delivery failure occurs we are required to block future emails to that email address to comply with anti-spam policies and regulations. I have removed info@profilactum.lt from the hard bounce list (permanent email delivery failure list) now.
For you issue, @marxy2810, the issue is different. There is no email service for info@onsecondthought.co.uk. In order for email delivery to work for that email address their must be MX records for the domain onsecondthought.co.uk. However, no such DNS records exist at this time as shown below:
SOA records are returned when the request DNS record does not exist. There is no answer to the DNS query above (indicated by the ANSWER: 0) and the SOA is returned instead (indicated by the AUTHORITY: 1, ADDITIONAL: 1 ).
My best guess is that you did not copy the existing DNS records for the email service into the DNS zone at Netlify when you moved the DNS service from GoDaddy to Netlify DNS. There is a support guide about how to fix this here:
Hi, @marxy2810. It looks fixed to me. I see four successful form notification emails to that email address since the DNS changes. If there are follow-up questions please reply here anytime.
I’m having an issue where my form submissions are being collected correctly in Netlify, but I’m not receiving any email notifications. My notification is set to send to translation@coelacanth.studio, as shown in my “Form submission notifications” settings.
I’ve confirmed that the email address is correct and that I can receive messages from other sources. I also checked my spam/junk folders — nothing there.
I came across this thread and it seems other users have experienced the same issue. Could you please check if my email address is on a bounce list, and if so, remove it so notifications can start coming through again?
@raythedesigner your email address was on our internal hard bounce list, which prevented emails from being delivered there. I’ve just removed the address from that list, you should receive notifications moving forward.
