Hello Netlify team,

I’m having a problem with my custom domain. I had a site deployed on Netlify with URL salatconnect.netlify.app and custom domain salatconnect.org. However, I accidentally deleted the team where this domain salatconnect.org was registered. Today, when I try to use this domain with Netlify, it tells me that the domain salatconnect.org already exists, which prevents my DNS from being configured correctly.

Here is the information about my domain and the problem:

  • Name of my Netlify site: salatconnect.netlify.app
  • Custom domain I’m trying to add: salatconnect.org or www.salatconnect.org
  • Error I receive: “The domain already exists”, which prevents it from being linked to my Netlify account and my DNS. I can’t set my DNS correctly, because a new domain salatconnectnetlify.app is created instead of my existing custom domain, and no matter what I do in my DNS it forces me to use salatconnectnetlify.app.

I add a TXT record for my domain verification in my Cloudflare DNS as requested.

I would be grateful if you could help me recover this domain and add it correctly to my Netlify site.
