[Domain Verification Failed] TXT record automatically includes quotation marks (Gabia DNS)

Hi Netlify Team,

I’m trying to connect a custom subdomain balypyo.richsgc.com to my Netlify site (capable-praline-d3dc04.netlify.app).

I’ve followed all instructions, including:

  • Added the CNAME record: balypyo.richsgc.com → capable-praline-d3dc04.netlify.app
  • Added the required TXT record for domain verification:
    Host: netlify-challenge.balypyo
    Value: 0921e4b24dd26e14e0d2a2a140e9efab

However, my DNS provider (Gabia) automatically adds quotation marks to the TXT record value.
This results in: "0921e4b24dd26e14e0d2a2a140e9efab"
There is no way to disable or edit that behavior.

Due to this, the verification process has failed multiple times.

Could someone from the Netlify team help with manual domain verification?

I’ve attached a screenshot of my DNS settings as proof.

This record needs to be created at the root level of your domain, so the name will be netlify-challenge.richsgc.com. Please make that update and give it some time to propagate and then you should be unblocked.
