Hi Netlify support team,
I need help releasing a domain that is claimed by what appears to be a ghost site in a different Netlify account.
Site name: deluxe-cassata-6b10c3
Site ID: 2ddf0041-f4c3-4ea3-a79e-781d3c8215f3
Domain to add: tampacoastmedia.com
When I try to add tampacoastmedia.com as a custom domain, I get the error: “Another project is already using this domain”
I ran an API lookup and found this site ID holds the domain claim: 12eabb2a-35c4-4087-992c-befd83dd076b
That site returns a 404 on GET and appears to belong to a different account entirely. I cannot delete it with my token. There is no way for me to release this claim from my end.
Important: I have already updated my DNS on NameBright to point to Netlify. The A record for tampacoastmedia.com points to 75.2.60.5 and the www CNAME points to deluxe-cassata-6b10c3.netlify.app. So DNS is fully ready on my side.
Could you please ask your team to release the domain tampacoastmedia.com from the ghost site 12eabb2a-35c4-4087-992c-befd83dd076b so I can properly add it to my site deluxe-cassata-6b10c3?
