I deleted a Netlify project that had the custom domain check.studioabout.de assigned to it. Now I can’t add this domain to my new project officemappingsprint (live at officemappingsprint.netlify.app). The error message says “Another project is already using this domain.”
I already contacted Netlify support 2 days ago but haven’t received any response, so I’m trying here.
I’m not a developer and not familiar with DNS or server infrastructure, so I’m a bit lost at this point. Everything on my DNS provider’s side is set up correctly - the domain just seems to be stuck internally on Netlify’s end.
Looking through the forum I can see several other users reporting the exact same issue - and many of them never received a response either. Is Netlify still actively supporting free tier users?
(e.g. Custom domain stuck after accidental team deletion ) I’d really appreciate any help here.
Could someone please release check.studioabout.de so I can assign it to officemappingsprint?
