Hi team,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue with my custom domain getsourcex.com, which was previously working perfectly when hosted via Netlify. After deleting and reconfiguring DNS settings, the domain has been stuck on:
Preparing your domain…
Let’s Encrypt certificate cannot be provisioned** – DNS verification fails with
getsourcex.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify”* error.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
- Deleted and recreated the domain and DNS zone from Netlify
- Updated Netlify nameservers at the registrar (Squarespace) multiple times
- Removed all legacy DNS records and re-added only Netlify’s defaults
- Waited over 48+ hours for DNS propagation
- Cleared browser cache, tested on different devices and networks
- Tried renewing Let’s Encrypt SSL manually – still fails
Domain status:
- Nameservers are currently pointed to Netlify
- DNS shows the correct records for both root (
@
) andwww
pointing to Netlify app - Website is inaccessible with
ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED
- I have already removed any conflicting records and cleaned Squarespace DNS
My domain:
getsourcex.com
It was working great before this reset. I’d really appreciate help on manually verifying or pushing the certificate, or any deeper diagnostics to get it working again.
Thank you
