# Domain shows as "already managed by Netlify DNS on another team" — need it released

**Netlify site name:** `cosmic-clafoutis-f7ae5d.netlify.app`

**Custom domain:** `valenzagestaofinanceira.com.br`

**Error message:** “valenzagestaofinanceira.com.br or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

I’m trying to add this custom domain to my project `cosmic-clafoutis-f7ae5d` (team: BogoTech, slug: `felipe-kokjo3a`), but I keep getting the error above. It happens for both the apex domain and the `www` subdomain. I also tested with a brand new project (deleted the old one and created this one) and got the exact same error, so it’s not project-specific.

This is a domain I recently purchased myself and have never connected to any Netlify account before. I only have one team on my account (BogoTech). Could someone please check why this domain is showing as claimed elsewhere and release the DNS zone so I can add it to my project?

I’ve added the TXT record `verified-for-netlify.valenzagestaofinanceira.com.br` pointing to this thread’s URL, as I’ve seen requested in similar threads. Please let me know if you need anything else to release the domain.
