Domain purchased through Netify DNS works with MX but not NETLIFY

I have a Netlify site; edwardrosesolutions. At first, I purchased the domain to set up some MX records before I was ready to host a web app over the domain.

Now I am trying to setup a domain against the app. It seems as though the apex and WWW NETLIFY records aren’t quite being respected.

MX records work as expected. I am receiving mail through the new domain.

Is there anything obvious in my setup that feels off? This felt like it would have been a straight forward setup.

The Netlify site app works just fine (barebones app to test the deploy)

Closing this. I think I was impatient when I ran the CLI commands, and my browser was doing some aggressive dns caching for subsequent checks.
