Hello Netlify team,
I’m the owner of the domain merisoncarmo.com.br. When trying to add it as a custom domain to my project (capaz-cascaron-3bf805), I get the following message: “The domain merisoncarmo.com.br or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS in another team.”
I don’t have access to any other Netlify team where this domain could have been registered — it’s likely an old, forgotten DNS zone from a past test. The domain’s DNS is currently managed through KingHost (my registrar), with no Netlify nameservers configured.
I’ve already reset the DNS zone on KingHost’s side, but the error persists, which confirms the conflict is on Netlify’s end.
To verify domain ownership, I’ve added the following TXT record:
Name: verified-for-netlify
Value: [link to this post]
Could you please release/remove this orphaned DNS zone so I can add the domain correctly to my project?
