# Domain\_aliases is owned

Hi,

Netlify site name is `dreamy-rugelach-88483a.netlify.app`

When I’m trying to add a domain alias `iamabhay.com`, I’m getting an error “domain\_aliases is owned by another account” and after reading other posts, it seems previous owner must have used netlify. This is newly bought domain from porkbun.

I think I need to add TXT record for netlify to validate ownership but what exactly needs to be added?

Just to let you know one domain`imabhay.com` has already been added to ''dreamy-rugelach-88483a.netlify.app` and now wanted to add newly bought`iamabhay.com` too.
