crestforgewealth.com is listed as a domain alias on this project. There are two problems with it, and I suspect they share one underlying cause.
1. The SSL certificate will not re-issue to include it. I have triggered Renew certificate four times over several hours. The certificate still lists only crestforgewealth.net and www.crestforgewealth.net, last updated Jul 26. Loading the apex over HTTPS returns a certificate hostname mismatch, as expected.
2. The domain cannot be removed either. Options, then Remove domain, then confirm - this completes with no error message, but the domain is still listed after a full page reload. I tried it twice. By contrast www.crestforgewealth.com removed successfully on the first attempt, so the removal flow itself works. It is specifically this one record that will not respond.
DNS is verified correct against Google’s public resolver. Apex crestforgewealth.com has an A record to 75.2.60.5, and www.crestforgewealth.com has a CNAME to thriving-bienenstitch-d852f4.netlify.app. The www record is currently removed from the project but its DNS entry is still in place, ready to re-add.
Netlify’s own DNS check shows no warning against the apex domain - it displays as a normal verified domain alias.
I also noticed an existing thread about aliases needing to be unique, so if this record is somehow held by another project or account, that would explain both symptoms.
Could you please clear the stuck record so it can either be included in the certificate, or removed and re-added cleanly? Happy to do the re-adding myself once it is unstuck.
