Hi!
I’m trying to setup my domain from Squarespace using Netlify server names but after week i still get the “Awaiting external DNS” message when i check the Domain management page.
I have tried to fix it with AI Chatbot, reading similar blog posts and previously contacted with Squarespace support, but no solutions in a week.
Domain: thebyteland.com
Image with Squarespace and Netlify settings and errors. (Sorry i can only use one image because upload is restricted)
In Netlify I get these errors:
DNS : “Await external DNS”
SSL/TTL (After verify) : DNS verification failed thebyteland.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify
When i check DNS Checker - DNS Check Propagation Tool all servers are returning error so I assume that DNS is not propagated yet but Squarespace support sent me the same url asking for NS records: DNS Checker - DNS Check Propagation Tool where all servers return success requests.
I am completely lost with this problem. Can you help me with it?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,

I’m having similar issue. I configured the DNS records a week ago and recently published the site to live, and for some reason the url is not working as expected. Do I need to add Netlify IP as A Record for the site to work ?
