DNS Issues: Redirecting my Squarespace Domain

Hi all,

I’ve been deploying my site (Squarespace domain [redacted]) through Netlify (site name [redacted]). While I have been able to access the site on mobile, I have not been able to access it on desktop, receiving this message:

“You cannot visit [redacted] right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.”

I’ve also run into issues with my Gmail account associated with the domain not sending emails properly. Note that I’ve received emails in the past no issues, I just recently noticed that emails are not coming in or out (with no bounce emails being delivered to me).

Below are all the DNS settings on my Squarespace domain:

[redacted]

with Domain Nameservers of the form dns#.p01.nsone.net from 1-4.

Previously, I had the Google Cloud nameservers (and emails seemed to be working then), but the certificate/HSTS error still existed.

Under Domain Management on Netlify, I am told that “[redacted] doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify” and if I click renew certificate I get " DNS verification failed – [redacted] is not resolvable with a resolver that validates DNSSEC".

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’ve had no luck troubleshooting on my own.

DNSSEC is enabled on the domain @zacharywilkerson

$ whois [redacted] | grep DNSSEC
   DNSSEC: signedDelegation
   DNSSEC DS Data: 44255 8 2 5D1ABC32EF2603824892A8B3F10629A227D738D49313542DD6EA1554F3C90013
DNSSEC: signedDelegation

As noted in this documentation Netlify DNS doesn’t support DNSSEC.

If you would like to use DNSSEC (I believe it is a good thing that Netlify should support) see this thread and this feature request. However…

Edit: This post and the first post in thread edited by @elden to redact the domain however the domain is still visible by clicking the orange pencil at the top of this post.

I’ve removed the DNSSEC and that seems to have fixed the issue. However, still having the email issues. Any thoughts?

I input all of my DNS settings on Netlify again after turning off DNSSEC and everything seems to be functioning as desired.
