DNS doesn't appear to be served by Netlify

My setting for my site is Netlify App , showing this error when I’m attempting to verify the DNS configuration for the purposes of generating the Netlify SSL certificate:

**DNS verification failed**
*centaurusinfra.io doesn't appear to be served by Netlify

I don’t believe this is true. I successfully delegated my DNS to Netlify.
dig results shows it is using Netlify nameservers:

id 26033
opcode QUERY
flags QR RD RA
centaurusinfra.io. IN NS
centaurusinfra.io. 299 IN NS dns1.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io. 299 IN NS dns2.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io. 299 IN NS dns3.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io. 299 IN NS dns4.p01.nsone.net.

Can you please help me understand why I’m receiving this error? Happy to provide any additional detail. Thanks.

@centaurus You seem to have what they call an inactive DNS zone.

Whois reports your name servers as being with AWSDNS, while dig reports your name servers are with Netlify.

Checking for an inactive zone, we find:

|=============== check for inactive DNS zone ============
| ------------ last line should show nsone.net ----------
centaurusinfra.io.	300	IN	NS	dns1.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io.	300	IN	NS	dns2.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io.	300	IN	NS	dns3.p01.nsone.net.
centaurusinfra.io.	300	IN	NS	dns4.p01.nsone.net.
;; Received 135 bytes from in 49 ms

www.centaurusinfra.io does, however, seem to be served by Netlify, but it redirects to centaurusinfra.io, which is not.

Thank you for the tips. I will investigate ‘inactive Netlify DNS zone’ and report back.

Thank you. The certificate is working now after I active the zone.
