# Default subdomain?

Hi,

At the moment I have the following custom domain settings in Netlify:

- Default subdomain: [nalkas.netlify.com](https://nalkas.netlify.com)
- Primary domain: [www.nalkas.nu](https://www.nalkas.nu)
- Redirects automatically to primary domain: [nalkas.nu](https://nalkas.nu)

This means that I can go to [nalkas.netlify.com](http://nalkas.netlify.com) and that address renders my site. But this is something I do not want. I want everyting redirected to www.nalkas.nu so that everything is dealt with in one site/address. But what should I set as default subdomain then, and what role does that domain play in my case were I see no obvious reason for it? Grateful for some explanations and advices here.
