Custom domain wasn't automatically given SSL certificate?

Hello good folks at netlify!

My site is axonregdb.netlify.com. My custom domain is mousebraindev.com which I bought at Namecheap. I have added the netlify nameservers and the website seems to be working correctly except I am still seeing the certificate security error in browsers.

My understanding is that Netlify automatically takes care of issuing the certificate. Do I need to perform any other action to remove the security error or do I just need to wait for complete 24 hours?

Thanks!

@rdbcasillas Welcome to the Netlify community.

I ran a quick SSL check on your custom domain and it looks good. If giving it a little more time doesn’t resolve the issue, tech support may have to get involved.

Hi, @rdbcasillas. I don’t know if part of this issue was time to live (TTL) issues or not but that is my best guess.

The other part is that the “Renew certificate” button here needed to be clicked to update the SSL certificate:

https://app.netlify.com/sites/axonregdb/settings/domain#ssl-tls-certificate

Once I did that the SSL certificate added this custom domain and it is working when I test now. If there are other questions or concerns, please let us know.
