Hello Netlify Support Team,
I am trying to add my custom domain to a new project, but I am receiving the “Another site is already using this domain” error. The old project and account that used this domain have been deleted, so I cannot remove it manually.
To prove ownership, I have already added the required DNS TXT verification record at my registrar:
- Type: TXT
- Name: verified-for-netlify
- Value: https://ruan-digital.netlify.app/
My Custom Domain: ruandigital.com
My New Netlify Site URL: https://ruan-digital.netlify.app/
Could a support engineer please verify this record and clear the stale database lock on my domain so I can link it to my new project?
