I didn’t managed to associate my custom domain to my netlify web site. Custom domain is still “Awaiting Netlify DNS” and the domain is still pointing to the IONOS one.
The WhoIS seems good :
I have done what I saw in another post : remove the custom domain and re-add it.
But the domain is still pointing to the IONOS one and the custom domain still awaiting for netlify dns.
Any other solution ? Can I easily not use netlify dns and restore my IONOS domain initial parameters, then add dns records like I saw in another post ?
Hiya, if it has not been longer than 48hours can you wait till the threshold is reached? Often times DNS issues resolve themselves within this timeline.
It’s been over 72 hours since I made the changes, and I still have the same problem: ‘Awaiting netlify DNS’, and a problem accessing the domain BUT only on certain browsers. On my phone, connected to the mobile network, I can access it correctly. On my work computer, I get an error when I check “Network” in console :
NS ERROR CONNECTION REFUSED
I ve launched “dig” on the domaine, here is the result :
I’ve reset the DNS cache of the browsers in question + that of the machine… I don’t understand where this could be coming from.
Do you know if I need to add DNS records (A, AAAAA, CNAME…) to my domain configuration on IONOS? I have already added the netlify name servers as explained in the netlify documentation.
There was an issue when additional records were added to the DNS Zone. I was able to fix this issue with the NETLIFY Records and you should be all set.
Visiting http://flamenco-zumba.com now resolves properly. Please let us know if you continue to see issues.
