Hello Netlify Support,
I am the owner of the domain hillduross.online and I have full access to its DNS configuration.
I am trying to assign hillduross.online to my current Netlify project:
Current project: spiffy-mousse-1e9700
When I try to add the custom domain, Netlify displays the following error:
“Another project is already using this domain.”
I have checked the projects currently visible in my Netlify team, and I cannot find another project using this domain. It appears that hillduross.online may still be associated with an older or inaccessible Netlify project/account.
Please help me verify ownership of hillduross.online and release/remove the domain from the previous Netlify project so that I can assign it to my current project.
I can modify the domain’s DNS records and add a TXT verification record if ownership verification is required.

Not yet. The issue is still unresolved.
I own hillduross.online and have full access to the domain’s DNS settings, but Netlify still reports: “Another project is already using this domain.”
The project currently visible in my account does not show any other site using the domain, so I am waiting for guidance from Netlify Support on how to release the domain from the previous/inaccessible project.
I will update this thread as soon as I receive a solution.
If you are seeing exactly the same error, it may be useful to share your domain and the steps you have already tried as well.

Yes! I think Netlify Support can resolve this, especially because the error showed earlier — “Another project is already using this domain” .
