Custom Domain already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

I’m trying to add a custom domain to one of my sites ’ genuine-capybara-f22279.netlify.app’ but I’m getting an error " voxel.mx or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team." I own the voxel.mx domain it was indeed managed by another netlify account I removed the domain from that account a couple of days ago but I still can’t add it to my netlify site (right now the domain is pointing to a vercel account cause I needed something to show on the domain urgently but I would prefer to use netlify)

You should be able to do this yourself Netlify App

To allow usage in the new account, you’ll need to remove or transfer DNS Zone from existing account that is still active.

Oh snap! my bad! I thought I just had to remove the domain from the site.
