As per [Announcing Rust support on Netlify](https://answers.netlify.com/t/announcing-rust-support-on-netlify/31065) and associated [documentation](https://docs.netlify.com/configure-builds/manage-dependencies/#rust) Rust and Cargo are preinstalled in Netlify’s default build image.
