Hi, @kemalgencay. This domain isn’t registered by anyone currently:

You will need to register this domain before it can be used anywhere. You can register the domain using our web UI or you can use any third-party registrar to register it. Both will work equally well (and there is no difference where you register it).

To summarize, nothing regarding this domain will work until you (or someone else) registers it first.

If there are other questions or concerns, please let us know.

Sorry for my tipo: my site is www.kemalgencay.com and it is not working.

Hi, @kemalgencay. I do show this SSL certificate was updated earlier today.

What is also interesting though is that this domain isn’t pointing to any sites at Netlify. These are the records I see:

www.kemalgencay.com.	3600	IN	CNAME	kemalgencay.com.
kemalgencay.com. 3600	IN	A

This is not an IP address used by Netlify so I’m not sure how the SSL certificate got updated. Maybe this DNS configuration was changed to point to Netlify for a time and now no longer does.

If there are other questions about this, please let us know.

Thank you,
Maybe is it because I obtained SSL certificate for my Github account? If so should I get a new one for Netlify and how?

So is it possible to change DNS configuration to point to Netlify?

Hi, @kemalgencay, yes. The instructions for this can be found here:

For these two domain names the following DNS records should be created:

www.kemalgencay.com.	3600	IN	CNAME	eloquent-bhabha-2d4d34.netlify.com.
kemalgencay.com. 3600	IN	A

Once those records are working and the previous records have expired because their time to live (TTL) has passed, you will be able to renew the SSL certificate at Netlify. There is more information about how TTL values affect DNS records below:

If there are other questions about this, please let us know.

Many thanks, I will work on the issue.

Hi, @luke,
I have done everything in your answer, but I still get Another site is already using this domain message, what am I missing?
Thank you for your kind support,

Hi, @kemalgencay, I found reason for this error and removed reference to the domain name.

Please try adding the domain again now.

Hi, @luke
Thank you for your efforts, now I get this error although I cleared my cache:
www.kemalgencay.com ’s server IP address could not be found.

Should I wait for a day or so, so that global DNS records are propagatet?

OK now everything is working fine, thank you for your efforts
Best regards
