Certificate auto-renewal issue and provisioning taking more than 30 minutes

Hello there!

I have previously had a Let’s Encrypt certificate provisioned for my site and believed that it would auto-renew. However, my site is now inaccessible and unfortunately it appears that the Let’s Encrypt certificate is the issue, as safari gives me the message that a secure connection cannot be established to the server “ameeridreis.com”. I don’t believe I have recently played with any Netlify settings that could have messed things up for me, but I am also admittedly not very knowledgeable in DNS and SSL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

hi there, which netlify site is that domain intended for?

i have you tried to renew the certificate via the UI?

Thanks so much for the response. The netlify site is ameeridreis.netlify.com

The site appears to be up and running now, but I’m still getting ‘Currently provisioning your Let’s Encrypt certificate’ under ‘ SSL/TLS
certificate’ and it’s been like that for a few days now. I’m not sure how I would go about renewing it myself from the UI. I don’t see any buttons in that panel.

Hey @ameeridreis,

I can see that you’re using Netlify DNS so it’s a little strange that the certificate isn’t auto-issuing.

In fact, I’ve just checked and it’s showing as ‘issued’ with no errors at our end.

Can you confirm that this is what you see in the UI?
