Can't provision Let's Encrypt SSL certificate – "wifiboxusa.com doesn't appear to be served by Netlify"

We’re experiencing a recurring issue with SSL provisioning for our domain wifiboxusa.com.

:white_check_mark: Context:

  • The domain is connected to Netlify.
  • DNS settings are configured correctly with A records pointing to:
    • 75.2.60.5
    • 99.83.190.102
  • Netlify DNS shows a green check :white_check_mark: for the www subdomain.
  • However, the root domain wifiboxusa.com repeatedly returns to “Preparing your domain…” and the SSL certificate cannot be issued.
  • The error remains:

    “wifiboxusa.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify”

:white_check_mark: Steps already tried:

  • Re-added the custom domain
  • Flushed DNS cache (Google Public DNS)
  • Checked with DNS checker (records are properly propagated)
  • Cleaned old records like amnet/john subdomains
  • Waited over 24 hours multiple times
  • Reverified manually from the dashboard (Retry option is often missing)

Would appreciate your help resolving this issue, or verifying if there’s anything blocking SSL provisioning on your end.
