Custom domain: visualsofdsa.com (and www.visualsofdsa.com)
My domain visualsofdsa.com was registered through Netlify on Jul 8, 2024. It expired on Jul 8, 2026 (about 2 months ago). When I try to enable auto-renewal from the dashboard, I get this error:
“Domain cannot be auto-renewed within 24 hours of expiration.”
Since the domain is already expired, there is no button or option anywhere in the dashboard to pay or renew it manually.
Because of this, the domain is no longer serving my site — it’s now redirecting to what looks like a third-party parking page (rm358.com) instead of resolving to Netlify. This is also breaking email for the domain, since I use Proton Mail via MX records on this same domain.
I tried Ask Netlify first, but this issue requires a manual renewal from the support team, which the chatbot cannot process.
Request: Please process a manual renewal for visualsofdsa.com. I’m ready to pay the $16.99/year renewal fee and have a valid payment method on my account. Since it’s already about 2 months past expiration, could you confirm whether it’s still within the grace/redemption period and let me know if it can still be recovered before it’s released?
