Hi Netlify team,
I’m unable to provision a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my custom domain.
Site info:
- Netlify site: synesiapro.netlify.app
- Custom domain: synesia.fr (primary)
- Domain alias: www.synesia.fr (redirects to primary)
- DNS provider: Netlify DNS (nameservers delegated from Gandi: dns1–4.p02.nsone.net)
Issue:
The HTTPS panel shows “We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.” Clicking “Verify DNS configuration” succeeds every time (“DNS verification was successful”), but clicking “Provision certificate” right after fails again with the same error. This has been happening for 3+ days now.
What I’ve already checked:
- Nameservers correctly delegated to Netlify DNS (confirmed via Gandi panel and dnschecker.org)
- No CAA record blocking Let’s Encrypt
- No AAAA record conflicts
- No DNSSEC/DS record on the domain
- Retried “Provision certificate” multiple times over several days, same instant failure each time
Since DNS verification passes but provisioning keeps failing, could someone check the backend certificate issuance status for this domain and manually trigger it if needed?
Thank you!
