Cannot add www.events-unlimited.in without Netlify forcing root domain

Hi Netlify team,

I previously used events-unlimited.in with Netlify DNS, but I’ve since removed all DNS zones and am now using GoDaddy DNS with correct A and CNAME records pointing to Netlify.

However, when I try to add www.events-unlimited.in as a custom domain to my site (https://events-unlimited.netlify.app), Netlify automatically adds events-unlimited.in instead. This causes DNS verification and SSL provisioning to get stuck, since I no longer want to use Netlify DNS or root domain as primary.

:white_check_mark: Can you please:

  • Clear all internal domain ownership or metadata associated with events-unlimited.in for my account/team?
  • So I can add www.events-unlimited.in as a standalone custom domain using GoDaddy DNS?
