Awaiting External DNS 48h apex domain not working but subdomain works

Hi Support Forum,

My apex domain jordain.ca is not working for about 48 hours, but my subdomain murdermystery.jordain.ca does work. On netlify on jordain.ca still says “Awaiting External DNS”. I configured the domain correctly in my external provider, I also checked the NS entries with dig (Dig (DNS lookup)) and they match the ones netlify wants. It does find the AAAA records, but no A records. Any other steps I can do?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums!

Apologies for the issue, seems when an A Record was removed from the DNS Zone it “broke” the NETLIFY Record. That’s now been fixed on our end and the domain jordain.ca is properly resolving and shows that it’s on Netlify DNS. You should be all set.
