Iā€™m having an issue with displaying SVG images in my Astro project deployed on Netlify. Everything works fine locally, but after deployment on Netlify, the SVG files are not showing, while other images (e.g., JPG) display correctly. Iā€™m using the @astrojs/netlify adapter, which gives a warning about experimental support for ā€œassets.ā€ Iā€™ve tried various solutions, but the issue persists.

@benyoungnz, I was able to see the issue on one of your old deploys (before you disabled the Image CDN) and have passed the bug report to the devs. Meanwhile, I have excluded you from the feature flag, so even if you switch back to the Image CDN, your website should continue working fine.

@Flamingo147, @nebrekab, @fab, @slantedlight, @s8webteam, @jochenschmich, @MatPawluk, while I haveā€™t been able to find the exact broken image on your sites, I have excluded all of you from the feature flag as well.

Is this still an issue? We have some Gatsby sites and while svg images show just fine on local builds, theyā€™re broken on Netlify. Here are the site ids:

This thread is no longer relevant, so not sure if itā€™s the same issue. All your sites seem to be password protected, so I cannot check.

When you say the thread is no longer relevant, why is that? Should the issue where SVG images from the Netlify CDN were not showing in Astro projects now be fixed?

Yes, they are protected - I can share access details with you via a DM if that would help? Essentially the issue is the same as originally reported in that all images show except those that are SVGs when our Astro site builds. Iā€™ve temporarily disabled the Netlify image CDN for now, but could re-enable if you want to see the issue?
