I have purchased domain “ventorify.com” I am trying to add custom domain to my ventorify account but I am getting below error.
“Another site is already using this domain”

Hey there, this is happening because the custom domain you’re trying to use already exists on Netlify under a different account.
Please verify domain ownership and let us know by responding here when that’s done. Put the link to this post in the record because this is what I see.
host -t txt verified-for-netlify.ventorify.com
verified-for-netlify.ventorify.com descriptive text "150105"
If the verification is successful we can remove the domain from the other account so you can use it on yours.

Hi I removed the DNS zone from the other account. You should be able to add this to your account on Netlify

Right now I am not able to set ventorify.netlify.com it says “This site name is already taken”.
Can you also remove this ventorify.netlify.com from older account please?
Are you trying to set that as site name or the custom domain? Could you please share the screenshot of what you’re trying?
We cannot change the name of the old site.
This is what I am trying to do.
Previously when I wanted to set ventorify.com it was saying that it has been set up in another account.
I then provided my ownership (You can check in previous thread) and now I am able integrate ventorify.com
However I want to use ventorify.netlify.app too but it is not letting me to do that. I believe this domain is also needs to release so that we can use.
As mentioned above, we cannot release subdomains without the owner’s permission.
