Under the eggheadio organization I’m trying to add the custom domain “technicalinterviews.dev” on the site technicalinterviews-dev. I previously had this domain connected with a Squarespace site. I’ve disconnected the domain and deleted the Squarespace site entirely. I’ve also removed all host records from Namecheap. I’m still getting the “another site is already using this domain” message.
I spoke with your business partner about this today and I think got it cleared up for them. You’ll need to remove the sitename and dns zone from our UI from your account so they can use it. I think they gave you a similar message with more details, but let me know if not! As a customer with a paid plan, you can also ping us in the helpdesk too by emailing support@netlify.com .
