Custom domain: `leadspark.ai`

Hi!

Last week I added `MX` records into the Netlify-DNS-hosted domain we have, which point at our mail host over at Siteground.

For some reason though when I query the domain, no `MX` records show up. I can `dig` our `A` records and they’re fine, but I never get any response when I check `MX`. I can also check `MX` for other domains we have and they return data ok, but never for the `leadspark.ai` domain

```auto
➜ dig leadspark.ai A +noall +answer
; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> leadspark.ai A +noall +answer
;; global options: +cmd
leadspark.ai. 20	IN	A	3.75.10.80
leadspark.ai. 20	IN	A	3.124.100.143
➜ ~ dig leadspark.ai MX +noall +answer
; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> leadspark.ai MX +noall +answer
;; global options: +cmd
```

I’m a bit out of ideas now! Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks

Steve

Have you followed the instructions outlined the guide below?

> Last reviewed by Netlify Support: June 2024 That’s a really common question! Netlify does not provide email service. But no worries! You can choose a service yourself, and then set up the DNS records required by that email provider at Netlify. Note that these instructions are primarily for folks who are using [Netlify’s DNS Hosting](https://docs.netlify.com/domains-https/netlify-dns/). Any mail provider should work with our DNS hosting, from major ones like GSuite and Outlook to your own mail server. Some specific services customers have reporte…

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I believe so, yes. My concern at this stage isn’t that email isn’t reaching my mail servers, it’s that there are no MX records appearing in the domain that I have with Netlify DNS when I dig them.

Please see the original screenshot of my DNS setup in Netlify showing the MX records, and the dig output…not showing them. 😉

I’m seeing the records:

```auto
dig MX @8.8.8.8 +short leadspark.ai
30 mx30.antispam.mailspamprotection.com.
10 mx10.antispam.mailspamprotection.com.
20 mx20.antispam.mailspamprotection.com.
```

Did something change?
